CANCELLATION POLICY
All the experiences we offer are carried out at sea, and the weather conditions may vary and may not always be ideal. If the Captain / Guide decides that the conditions are not optimal, he will prioritize the safety and enjoyment of the participants, and may change the route or choose another point with better conditions to develop the experience.
Acceptance of the reservation once formalized implies the CLIENT’s agreement with this CANCELLATION POLICY established by OLIVES CEAN.
OLIVES OCEAN has organized and prepared personal and material logistics on a daily basis to guarantee the service offered, therefore, unilateral cancellation by the CUSTOMER may have a series of implications.
In the event that the CLIENT does not ultimately carry out an activity booked with OLIVES OCEAN, the following will apply:
NO CHARGE WILL BE GENERATED TO THE CUSTOMER in the event that the cancellation of the scheduled activity is carried out by OLIVES OCEAN, regardless of the reason for the cancellation. THERE WILL ALWAYS BE THE OPTION TO CHOOSE OTHER DATES and if this is not possible for both parties, 100% of the reservation amount will be refunded.
- In the event that the CANCELLATION of the scheduled activity IS CARRIED OUT BY THE CLIENT, regardless of the reason for it, the following will apply:
- NO CHARGE WILL BE GENERATED TO THE CLIENT as long as the CLIENT effectively informs OLIVES OCEAN of his/her willingness to cancel the scheduled activity AT LEAST 72 HOURS IN ADVANCE of the date on which the activity was scheduled to take place.
- The CLIENT will be charged 100% OF THE RESERVATION AMOUNT of the scheduled activity when there is no evidence of the CLIENT’s communication to OLIVES OCEAN of his/her willingness to cancel said activity, or that communication by the CLIENT occurs with an ADVANCE LESS THAN THE MINIMUM PERIOD OF 72 HOURS established in the previous section.
- FOR THE CANCELLATION TO BE EFFECTIVE, the only admissible way will be to send an email to the email info@olivesocean.com
- Once the client boards the boat, the money will not be returned if the activity will not be carried out for reasons attributable to the client.
Adverse weather conditions:
When on the date reserved to carry out the activity, the weather conditions are not ideal or do not recommend carrying out the activity, always following the criteria of the Captain/Guide, it may be suspended. In this case, a new date will be offered to the client and, if it is not possible for both parties, the client may opt for a refund of the amount paid.
- An adverse weather report from OLIVES OCEAN will be considered when:
- The wind exceeds 22 knots.
- Forecast of waves with a height of 1.5 meters.
- Heavy rain greater than 25% of the total duration of the experience.
