CANCELLATION POLICY
All the experiences we offer take place at sea, so weather conditions may vary and may not always be ideal. If the Captain/Guide decides that conditions are not optimal, they will prioritize the safety and enjoyment of the participants and may change the route or choose another spot with better conditions for the experience.
Acceptance of the reservation once formalized implies the CUSTOMER’s agreement with this CANCELLATION POLICY established by OLIVES CEAN.
OLIVES OCEAN has organized and prepared daily personnel and material logistics to guarantee the service offered; therefore, unilateral cancellation by the CLIENT may have several implications.
In the event that the CLIENT does not ultimately carry out an activity booked with OLIVES OCEAN, the following will apply:
The client will not be charged any fees if Olives Ocean cancels a scheduled activity, regardless of the reason. Other dates are always available, and if this is not possible for both parties, a full refund will be given.
- In the event that the CANCELLATION of the scheduled activity IS MADE BY THE CLIENT, regardless of the reason for it, the following will apply:
- NO CHARGE WILL BE GENERATED TO THE CLIENT as long as the CLIENT effectively informs OLIVES OCEAN of his/her wish to cancel the scheduled activity AT LEAST 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE of the date on which the BOAT EXCURSION was scheduled and AT LEAST 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE of the date on which the SNORKELING experience or the DIVE GUIDE experience was scheduled.
- The CLIENT will be charged 100% of the RESERVATION AMOUNT for the scheduled activity when there is no record of the CLIENT communicating to OLIVES OCEAN their intention to cancel said activity, or when such communication by the CLIENT is made LESS THAN THE MINIMUM NOTICE OF 48 HOURS for the boat excursion and 24 HOURS FOR THE SNORKELING EXPERIENCE AND THE DIVE GUIDE EXPERIENCE established in the previous section.
- FOR CANCELLATION TO BE EFFECTIVE, the only acceptable way is to send an email to info@olivesocean.com
- Once the client boards the boat, no refund will be given unless the activity is not carried out for reasons attributable to the client.
Adverse weather conditions:
If weather conditions on the date reserved for the activity are unsuitable or make it inadvisable, the activity may be canceled at the discretion of the Captain/Guide. In this case, the client will be offered a new date, and if this is not mutually acceptable, the client may opt for a refund of the amount paid.
- An adverse weather forecast will be considered by OLIVES OCEAN when:
- The wind exceeds 22 knots.
- Waves with a height of 1.5 meters are forecast.
- Heavy rain exceeding 25% of the total duration of the experience.
